Photochromic lenses such as Essilor’s Transitions are excellent if
you need specatacles that can cope with all light conditions.
The transition from light to dark is very rapid and the lenses
become almost completely clear in low light. The sunglass tint is much darker than on most photochromic lenses, and they have a big advantage in that they work inside a car.
Transitions can be combined with most of Essilor’s other lens
forms, such as Varilux multifocals.
